During production, we focus particularly on fair working conditions. To achieve this, we work together with Fair Wear. Since 2018, we have been rewarded with Leader status as one of a few companies due to continuous improvements. Topics that we regularly review and improve are above all: living wages, appropriate working hours and a safe working environment.
When manufacturing our products, we take great care to keep the environmental impact as low as possible. We source the fabrics for this product from bluesign system partners, thus guaranteeing resource-saving production and at the same time ensuring that hazardous chemicals do not end up in the environment or in our products.
From the spring/summer 2020 collection, the water-repellent coating is 100% PFC-free and therefore not harmful to people or the environment.
The fabrics for the hipbag are made by our partner Yaw Liamy Enterprise in Taiwan.
The fabrics are made from recycled PET bottles to save important resources like water and energy. One PET bottle is recycled to make the pencil case. PET recycling is doubly good: resources can be saved and less plastic waste ends up in nature.
