How do you turn a piece of string into a funny animal?

  1. First place a piece of wool about 10 cm long between the middle prongs of your fork and hold the ends firmly.

Now wrap your wool around the fork several times. The tines in the back half should no longer be visible. The more you wrap, the tighter your pompom will be. Now you can use your short wool thread from step 1 to tie the wrapped wool together and pull the small packet off the fork.

Now cut the loops with the scissors and cut your pompom into shape a little.

You can punch holes in the paper for eyes and draw on pupils with a black pen. Also cut out ears, a snout or feathers, depending on what your desired animal needs for its finished look. Finally, glue everything in place with liquid glue. Your fun party decoration is ready!
